The basics
A standard extra circuit, with a new cable of up to ten metres to a socket, costs €225 with us. Everything is included: materials, labour and VAT.
What makes it more expensive
A long cable route, say from a consumer unit in the basement to an attic three floors up. A concrete floor we need to get through. Or a cooker circuit for induction, which needs a heavier cable and a different breaker (from €395).
And sometimes the unit is simply full. Then we add an extension unit next to it, or replace the whole thing.
Do it yourself?
You can, as long as it meets NEN 1010. But a mistake in the consumer unit can cause a fire, and then your insurer may make things difficult.
