Electrical inspection

An inspection tells you how safe your installation is and what it costs to bring it up to standard. Especially when buying an older house, it saves a lot of surprises later.

What we check

The consumer unit, the RCDs, the earthing, the wiring per circuit and a sample of sockets and switches. We measure the insulation resistance and test whether the RCDs trip in time.

The report

Within two working days you have a report with photos. For each point it says how urgent it is and what it costs. Handy when negotiating the purchase price.

For businesses

For commercial premises and workshops we carry out periodic inspections to NEN 3140. Insurers and the Dutch Labour Inspectorate often ask for them.

How long does an inspection take?

For an average flat about two hours. You don't need to be there the whole time, as long as we can get in.

A useful report when buying our house, it got us €2,000 off the price. Getting an appointment did take a week.
