An induction hob needs its own cooker circuit. A washing machine and a dryer should each have their own circuit. For a home office or loft room, a standard extra circuit is often enough.
Most units have room for two or three extra circuits. If yours is full, we check whether it can be extended or whether replacing it makes more sense. We only say the latter when it's really true.
01 Can an induction hob go on a normal circuit?
No. Most induction hobs need two circuits or a three-phase circuit. On one standard circuit the power trips, and the cable gets too hot.
